After working hard on the volunteer committee to save the old train station, I was really hoping this wonderful building and location would be put to better use than this mediocre restaurant. The food is not good .I lived in New Orleans for 4 years and make a great gumbo..theirs was just bad. I took my husband and 2 grown children and none of the food was very good. Why couldn't Decatur put in a better place? I am hopeful that something else will take it's place..The Buckhead Diner would be perfect...just name it the Decatur Diner and I will be there.
