Review content:
I've had my insurance here for over a year... Great rates, and very friendly... Until there is a problem.... My insurance was up for renewal and I called to notify the Insurance Doctor that I had closed the bank account my payments were being drafted from. I was told I had to come in person and was unable to provide a new method of payment over the phone. I agreed to come in person to sign documents but requested they notify the insurance company my account was closed and have them not attempt to draft funds. I was told they would do this and follow up with me to confirm, I did not receive a follow up call. Instead when I go in person to the Insurance Doctor's office to provide my new method of payment I get greeted with a blank stare and when I fill the Representative in on the situation and ask to confirm they haven't attempted the draft. I am then told I'm going to be personally responsible for paying the returned check fee from the insurance company because I didn't give them notice in writing before the draft attempt.... As soon as I find another Agency (something Richmond has no lack of), I'll be leaving the Insurance doctor.
