After a 'simple' scheduling error that wasn't relayed from the front desk to the hair dresser- this salon STOOD ME UP ON MY WEDDING DAY. I stood outside on the curb for 2 hours on the sidewalk (salons are closed Sundays- bridal appointments are made in advance) After calling 7 other salons (which are all closed on sunday!) one FINALLY picked up the phone and took me in. I'm sure they felt bad for the bride sitting on a curb crying. Luckily i finally got my hair and make-up done for my wedding. However- after all the wasted time, tears, and money(all of which are invaluable to a bride)--when I finally contacted the salon after this disaster- absolutely no effort was made to help compensate me for a prior trial run when I never received the actual services on the wedding day. And worst- all the salon would say is its all MY fault, they 'never got the message.' Then why did I waste my time calling? Why did I waste my time and money with all the prep and 'trail runs' that you won't refund! Thank you Salon Tribeca for leaving me out in the cold on my wedding day.... I'd at least put a bench outside the door for the future customers you'll leave outside as well.
