Tribeca Salon

After a 'simple' scheduling error that wasn't relayed from the front desk to the hair dresser- this salon STOOD ME UP ON MY WEDDING DAY. I stood outside on the curb for 2 hours on the sidewalk (salons are closed Sundays- bridal appointments are made in advance) After calling 7 other salons (which are all closed on sunday!) one FINALLY picked up the phone and took me in. I'm sure they felt bad for the bride sitting on a curb crying. Luckily i finally got my hair and make-up done for my wedding. However- after all the wasted time, tears, and money(all of which are invaluable to a bride)--when I finally contacted the salon after this disaster- absolutely no effort was made to help compensate me for a prior trial run when I never received the actual services on the wedding day. And worst- all the salon would say is its all MY fault, they 'never got the message.' Then why did I waste my time calling? Why did I waste my time and money with all the prep and 'trail runs' that you won't refund! Thank you Salon Tribeca for leaving me out in the cold on my wedding day.... I'd at least put a bench outside the door for the future customers you'll leave outside as well. more

Tribeca has a great feel to it from the moment you walk in. The ambiance is refreshing. They have the best coffee, lots of cheerful smiles, and fun things to look at. :) It's so much nicer than my last salon where I had to feed the meter, fight for parking, and wait in a tiny space. This salon has plenty of very close parking, is very spacious, and has many qualified stylists. I tried Jason after my sister ranting about her hair... she has gone to him for years and treated me to a haircut and highlights (yes, she's the best). :) I was blown away by the entire experience. Jason made me feel like a super star - both while I was there and after I left. He takes great care of making me happy, which I really appreciate. My hair looks better than it ever has (and I've tried my fair share of styles/stylists over the years). My hair is definitely difficult; I have a lot of it, it's dry, and I usually don't want to spend a whole lot of time on it. His hair cut makes it more simple to style. He taught me techniques which improve the way it ends up looking in less time. He made suggestions on things I just wasn't creative enough to think about for my color and cut... and I love how they have turned out! I've never gotten so many looks, received so many compliments, and felt so happy about my hair. He also color corrected my mom's overly bleached hair and it turned out wonderful. He provides a Keratin hair treatment service that I'm dying to try and plan to do so soon. I highly recommend this salon and Jason. more

I've had great service each time I've gone to Tribeca. The place looks great, the staff is really friendly and i've had great cuts each time. It's pretty easy getting an appointment slot. I'm actually not that particular. I've elected to have different stylists each time. (I'm not a big talker so it doesn't matter who I get). Everytime I've gone I've been happy. The prices are a little high, but not that different from other salons in the region I guess. more

I met Tim, Treeny and Jen at a fundraising event. I called Tribeca for an appointment a few weeks later. Not only are they experts at cut and color, they also have great energy and do a lot for their community. Pros: Best cut and color in town! Cons: I'm nowhere near Aliso Viejo, but worth the drive!!! more

Tim and Treeny, the ambiance of the salon, but most of all, the excellent haircut I get from Tim. Pros: Best haircut for the money Cons: I can't stay long enough in Tim's chair as he cuts fast more

I've been going to Treeny for over 18 years. She's part owner with her husband Tim. Love them both. Treeny took a bad haircut years ago and saved my hair and I will not go to anyone else. Jen Puebla at Tribeca salon is an amazing stylist/colorist. She always listens to what I want and my hair turns out beautiful every time. I can't tell you how many times i've been disappointed with previous hairdressers work and left feeling that they didn't really listen to what I want. With Jen, this never happens and I don't know about you, but there's nothing that lifts your spirits like leaving the salon with a great cut and color. Not only does this place give the best hair styles and coloring, but it is very involved in supporting causes in the community, specifically the Village of Hope homeless transitional facility where they support it regularly by styling the hair of the residents there and by holding fundraisers to support the homeless. I have had my hair done by a couple of the stylists here and I have always left the salon feeling like a million bucks. I love the atmosphere, the receptionist is friendly, and the drink/snack area is a treat. Also, I had a massage done here and it was pretty phenomenal. Pros: I always leave with amazing hair! I have been coming in from Texas for Tim to do my hair for over 15 years now. He and Treeny have always been unique and this salon is a wonderful mixture of their talents. They have been concerned about helping others and the fact that they are always helping charities around the community AND that they devote time and efforts to the wonderful CITY OF HOPE is outstanding. I found this salon online. I had just moved here and was looking for a new girl. The receptionist put me with Ali. I was apprehensive because i had been with my stylist for eight years. She was very sweet. I really liked my cut. She showed me how to style it so i could recreate it at home. the whole experiece wa fantastic. Pros: yummy coffee, great style more

I look forward to visiting Tribeca every time I go. I found it about 8 months ago. My hairstylist, Ali, is great. She always makes me feel glamorous and pampered. I have been getting my hair done professionally for 12 years and this is my favorite salon by far. I would definitely recommend it. You will not be sorry you tried out this destination salon. more

I have been going to Tribeca since they opened, and completely enjoy the atmosphere the staff and most of all my hair always looks great when Tim is finished, I always get compliments on my hair. Tim is great with my color and I always love the cut he gives me. He is not afraid to give me suggestions that would best suit me. It is a relaxing place to spend a few hours between the comfortable sofa's, the low key environment and the beautiful way they have decorated the shop. Tim is always on time and I would recommend him to anyone. Tim and Treeny have done a beautiful job with this salon, and I love getting my hair done there.......
