Review content:
I consigned two puppies (Mini Schnoodles) to Palm Beach Puppies to help find a good home. After the puppies spent more than two weeks in the care of the store, I was told to come back and pick them up because they (Palm Beach Puppies) had a hard time selling them. I picked both puppies up on Monday 11/9. On the morning of 11/12, 4 days later, both puppies stopped eating and suffered from severe diarrhea. The next day we took both to the Vet because they were still not eating and still suffering with the tremendous diarrhea. After testing, the Vet told us both puppies contracted the Parvo virus and there was no treatment available that could cure them 100%. The vet said the only thing we could do is put them down. He also said it was highly probable and likely the virus was contracted at the pet store. We couldn't take them back home due the highly contagious nature of the virus. We have three other dogs that could be exposed. Both of my puppies had health certifications before we left them with this Pet Store. Further, and by the admission of the owner/manager, the puppies were checked and were healthy before they were offered for sale.
