I was a maintenance worker there for a year or so. It is the worst property imaginable. The owners cycle through various management companies demanding the impossible from each of them, when I left, it was Sunchase management getting abused. The problems are very simple. It's an old development. Spanish tile roofs with worthless tar-papered flat sections throughout. That's really not the biggest issue though. The whole place was plumbed using flexible tubing. Flexible tubing is fine, but it has some rules, if you are going to turn 90 degrees, you must put in a union. The builders just bent the tubes. Even worse, they used PB tubes with plastic fittings. The fittings were all cracked when the brass rings were first clamped on. The whole place is a plumbing nightmare. Even if they fix all of the roof issues, every single unit is a ticking timebomb in terms of leaks from horrible plumbing. In the time I worked there, the vast majority of leaks were not from weather, but from plumbing. There are at least 20 plastic joints in every unit, gripped by brass rings. Leaks waiting to happen. Avoid.
