Businiess name:  Mastro's Steak House

Review content:
Moved to this area 18 mos ago and were told this was THE BEST place for steaks in the US by several people. We make far better steaks at home than these overpriced hunks of meat. The outside was encrusted with a lot of spice or maybe salt (and don't get me wrong, I love spice), but somehow it still tasted blah. I also hate it when places serve all the sides a la carte, but know that most fine restaurants work this way, and I don't even mind paying the exorbitant prices if they're extraordinary...again, blah. The only reason I liked the place AT ALL was the courteous wait staff and the ambience. Those two items are top notch, but do you really go to a fine restaurant to eat below average food at top dollar prices just b/c their staff is nice and the atmosphere is cool? Pros: Staff, Ambience Cons: Food
