Im not even sure where to start. If Im paying $$$ for the food I want the BEST food Ive ever had. That definitely wont happen here. The service is slow and is VERY inexperienced. I have been here 4 times (thinking it would have changed since the opening in july) and the only two things I have had that I can honestly give a good review on is the gumbo (go joe!!) and the oysters with bacon and jalapenos. Other than that the burger is tiny and ridiculously priced, the thin fries are just too difficult to eat (they look more like noodles than french fries) the thick fries are normal thin fries and are ok until you dip it in the homeade ketchup. The rice paired with the gumbo taste like instant/minute rice. The filet.. should be the easiest thing on the menu to get right, yet somehow the chef has managed to put no seasonings (mainly salt) on it. Once we added salt to our filets they had little flavor, but still nothing i would want my taste buds to suffer through again. If Im going to pay this much for food Id rather go to Killen's in Pearland, Atleast there Im guaranteed a delicious meal. Sorry to the owners and the chef but this place needs alot of work. Also I would agree with the other person who gave you 2 stars.. how is it that EVERYONE is giving you 5 stars? It is definitely not deserved.
