Celebrated my birthday at what was supposed to be the gourmet restaurant find of the century. Reviews seemed to be superior. My wife and I and 2 sons and their families were treated very well by our waitor. He was so good that he could sell anything. He convinced me that the Akaushi (Kobe) Beef steak ($42) was going to be "twice as good as the Flat Iron steak or Chief's recommendation, the Tri-tip steak (each ~$26 "A La Carte"). All the meals came out colder than luke warm and my "superior" steak was raw (instead of pink), barely luke warm and tougher and chewier than any meat I've ever had...awful! The $26 steaks were at least twice as good but nearly cold too when put on the table. The Alligator and crab cake appetizers were ok. The aftermeal coffee (press) was the best. For such an expensive meal (6 adults and 1 child ~$54 each) it was such a HUGE disappointment that I wouldn't go back. Too bad because I like to support good restaurants.
