Review content:
We decided to take the kids to see their grandmother in Amarillo. We've seen this hotel on previous trips but never stayed and decided to stay this time. The kids wanted to bring the new addition to the family, Bugsy, who is a little pug. Figured why not. The Ambassador came up in one of my many searches as a very pet friendly hotel so we gave it a shot. Upon arrival the front desk agents were very nice and welcoming, fawning over our puppy - I knew immediately we were in a good place. As honestly was stressing me out a bit as I've never traveled with a dog before. There are plenty of places to walk the dog and no you don't have to get in your car and drive to them. The Ambassador has a great pool, plenty big to satisfy the kid and adult pool goer. Everything is nicely kept and the people were very nice. I wish I would have gotten some of the names of the people we encountered as I would put them in this review! Breakfast was great, very hearty and everything you would need and then some. Thank you Ambassador for making our stay in Amarillo really nice.
