After moving from ATL almost 2yrs ago I've been in search of a salon to call ""home"" in Birmingham, AL. After 4 unsuccessful attempts from several well known local spots, I found Urban Style in Homewood @ 6mos ago.
Shawn was a referral from a close friend and given my history...I was more than somewhat hesitant to try yet another new stylist. After my first visit with Shawn, I knew Urban Style lived-up to it's hype. Shawn was the first stylist who didn't attempt a complete image make-over on the first appointment. He took his time and made sure I was comfortable before getting down to business. My first cut was AMAZING and this is the first time in over 6yrs that I've found someone who can cut/style AND....color! He's a one-stop shop and as a very busy business woman this is a ""God send"".
I could ramble on but think anyone who might be in the same boat as I in their search for a great salon...should give Shawn a call. You won't be disappointed!
