I used to work in a high-end salon in Arizona and I know from personal experience what anyone should expect in service when you are paying a lot of money. In February, I went to Alta Moda mainly becase it offered Kerastase. When I arrived, I wasn't greeted, not offered something to drink, and my stylist was 20 minutes late! When I was offered a drink, I had by then felt so awkward that I didn't think I could stomach it. The stylist I had was accommodating in giving me full highlights rather than my scheduled color and partial highlights, but had no qualms about letting me know she was on a timeframe. At the end, I ended up paying $150 +tip and not even getting my hair blown dry. At home, I noticed there were bleed marks all over my scalp from the color. I won't be going back.
Pros: parking, Kerastase products, stimulating decor
Cons: expensive, poor service, unfriendly staff
