SO I STOPPED BY HIS SHOP ONE DAY TO ASK HIM ABOUT MY CAR, AND TO GET A ROUGH IDEA ON HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST (BECAUSE I ALREADY KNEW WHAT WAS WRONG W/ THE CAR). HE WAS CONVERSATIONAL, BUT BECAME VERY UN-ATTENTIVE WHEN I STARTED TO ASK FOR AN ESTIMATE. HE SAID HE WOULD HAVE TO LOOK AT I THE CAR BECAUSE IT WASN'T THERE, SO I MADE A VERBAL APPOINTMENT APPOINTMENT FOR A FEW DAYS LATER. I CALLED HIM BACK AFTER I HAD AAA COME TO CHECK OUT AND DIAGNOS THE PROBLEM FOR REAL (AAA USES THE SAME TOOL MECHANICS USE TO TEST BATTERIES/ALTERNATORS). THE AAA DUDE, WHO WAS VERY COOL AND HELPFUL, TOLD ME WHAT WAS UP. SO I CALLED HARRY'S BACK AND SPOKE WITH THE SAME GUY I DID A FEW DAYS BEFORE, AND ASKED FOR AN ESTIMATE ON A SPECIFIC JOB, THEN TOLD ME HE DIDN'T HAVE TIME FOR MY ANYMORE. SO LESSON LEARNED DON'T EVEN BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME WITH THIS GUY IF YOU WANT ANY ""REAL"" ESTIMATES OR CONCRETE APPOINTMENTS.
