I recently hired Brittany Baldwin of Portland Home Chef to cater a baby shower brunch. She fed 20 people a memorable spread that included a summer veggie quiche, berry clafouti, eggs Taos, Oregon berry summer tart, muffins and brownies. My guests and I were so thrilled with the feast that I hired Brittany again a few months later to prepare a selection of made-to-order meals; she stocked my freezer in preparation for the first few days of motherhood. It has been an incredible comfort having such delicious, nutritious food available at such an important time.
