Review content:
I have had my several dogs treated by a number of vets in Birmingham. I changed vets for convenience after moving to another area of town but recently returned to Dr. Harris, because of the thoroughness of the the care and of the communication. He listens attentively to the list of symptoms and concerns, carefully explains recommended tests and treatment, and carefully explains test results. It ends up costing a bit more than my last vet, because more preventive and diagnostic procedures are recommended, but preventive care works out to cost savings in the long run and testing and prompt diagnosis spare the animals needless suffering. Dr. Harris has been joined in practice by Dr. Lori Busby, who is also very good, and I like having the benefit of their combined expertise. Pros: Very thorough, everything carefully explained Cons: A little more expensive than my last vet (but worth it)
