I LOVE this Vet. I've been going to Dr. Busby for several months and she is just wonderful with cats. She is very loving to my cat and has done an excellent job taking care of her. The rest of the staff is very nice as well, they make you feel comfortable. I am much happier there than at my previous vet (and my cat is doing much better). I have had my several dogs treated by a number of vets in Birmingham. I changed vets for convenience after moving to another area of town but recently returned to Dr. Harris, because of the thoroughness of the the care and of the communication. He listens attentively to the list of symptoms and concerns, carefully explains recommended tests and treatment, and carefully explains test results. It ends up costing a bit more than my last vet, because more preventive and diagnostic procedures are recommended, but preventive care works out to cost savings in the long run and testing and prompt diagnosis spare the animals needless suffering. Dr. Harris has been joined in practice by Dr. Lori Busby, who is also very good, and I like having the benefit of their combined expertise.
