Review content:
I discovered vibration training in Paris a couple of years ago and was quickly addicted. Two or three times a week for 25 minutes and within a couple of weeks I saw a noticeable difference is muscle tone and skin appearance and ending each workout with a short ""massage"" on the machine feels so good ! I did a web search and found Station here in NY - so relieved. The studio is very pretty - open and airy and the trainers are hard-asses (literally and figuratively !) but are very friendly. There are showers and a decent size locker room but a great thing about this workout is that you don't necessarily need to shower - so it makes working out during the lunch break possible. Despite the location in the super trendy Meatpacking District - there is refreshingly no attitude. I tried the infra-red saunas too - supposed to help with fat burning - so relaxing and my skin looked great for the rest of the day (once the redness from the heat wore off (a few minutes). (NB: Shower definitely needed after the sauna ! : ) Great concept and even better results.
Pros: Highly effective work-out; unintimidating, friendly trainers
Cons: Hard to get to from uptown east side
