I'm new to the Texas area and I've been trying to find decent restaurants since arriving (not to mention trying to impress my date, haha). So, I did what most people do and ""googled"" restaurants near my zip code. After sorting through the list I came across Main 101 and scoped out their website... the site was decent and had some good pictures depicting the atmosphere/food. So, I decided to give it a shot... best decision I had made that week!
My date and I arrived around 6:30 on a Friday evening to find the place relatively empty, which at the time made me a little nervous. We were promptly seated by one of the best servers I've ever had and immediately had some bread/drinks. Everything on the menu sounded amazing, but I went with the special (blackened halibut with a citrus sauce) and she went with the pork chop... both dishes were absolutely incredible. We followed it all up with one of the best desserts I've had in a long time... a caramel-apple pastry with vanilla ice cream, so good. The chef came out to see how everything went and everyone working there was extremely polite/attentive.
I have nothing negative to say about the experience. I know I will definitely be returning, and hopefully with my lady friend ;)
Pros: Great atmosphere, amazing food and excellent service!
Cons: None that I have seen.
