Review content:
This was a very disappointing experience for several reasons. First, the service was very poor. Perhaps the restaurant was short staffed. As we ordered no alcohol or appetizers, we sat waiting for over 35 minutes at an empty table with empty water glasses. The server never returned to even refill water. The food was delivered to customers in inexplicable order. People who were seated 20 minutes after our food had been ordered received their dinners first. When our order finally came it was delivered with another table's order. How odd. More importantly, the food was so very mediocre. Unauthentic - we have lived in India for years, just as an aside. We have context. Cold - inexcusable. Very, very overpriced. We did address our disappointment with staff and were told it takes 35-40 minutes to make each dish individually. However, there are several very fine Indian restaurants in the metro area that manage to cook and serve delicious Indian fare in far less time. May we recommend the following: India's on Hampden. Very professional staff and excellent food. Sherpa House - Golden. Very personable staff. Comfortable, authentic atmosphere and excellent food. Namaste on Wadsworth. Wonderful, personable staff. Lovely food. Very fairly priced.
