Review content:
Permit is Required! I called Ideal Steel Buildings to find out a little information about what was required for haivng one os these structures installed. Wanted to find out if I needed a permit to have one, unfortunately they are not educated or do not care. These structures are not considered portable; they are considered accessory structure by counties and cities. Accessory structures are required to obtain a permit. The other thing is that this company does not install the buildings they are installed by American Carports. The contractor is located in North Carolina. When you call this establishment they don't even answer the phone with ""Ideal Steel Buildings"" they are a used car lot, insurance agent, and now a CHEAP carport dealer. I am all for getting the most for my money, but going with a company like this will end up costing more money than you orignally planned!
