Last night (Aug.19.02) my wife and I celebrated our 10th anniversary at the Log-Haven (at least that was ""part"" of the celebration ) The food was unique, well crafted, and absolutely delicious. We started with the Prawn appetizer, both had spinach salads, she had the lamb, and I had the seared tuna. Everything was superbly prepared. The only negatives were that the prawns in the appetizer were more like 35-40 count shrimp and there were only 4 and the bacon on the salad was a whole strip of bacon that required a knife to cut which was a bit of a put-off since the spinach was so delicate. Also, the table service was adequate, but definately not what you would expect at a restaurant of this caliber. Overall go here if you don't mind paying for quality cuisine and atmosphere...because you will pay...I don't mind and it was great! 8^)
Pros: great unique menu, exquisite preparation, great ambience
Cons: sm portion appetizer, serv good/not xclnt, price
