If one star is ""EH"", then they deserve a negative number. First off, they are the only game in town for an overnight emergency and whoever owns this place, which is, by the way, the same staff rotating back and forth from the Poughkeepsie emerg. clinic, totally takes advantage of that fact. I do not feel it's overly unreasonable to charge a small percentage higher, but $118 to just walk thru the door???? And everything gets worse after that. EVERYTHING. I have had two seperate experiences with them...one where my pet died and one where my pet made it out of there. Way too many details to go into even one story, so I will leave you with this...if you can get ANYWHERE ELSE, except the Poughkeepsie place (same owners), GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Anywhere else would have to be a vast improvement. Be aware they will ""sell"" you all sorts of unnecessary treatments, drugs, etc and Lord help you if you disagree or ask a question. Simply said, it's their way or the highway. Most importantly, you need to remember that you are leaving your pet in their hands...be afraid; be very afraid. I can only hope and pray that I NEVER have to use them again. Simply speechless that ANYONE would give this place anything over 1 star.
