Review content:
I thought there was no way this place would be as good as the one back home. We were passing through from Destin and recognized the Mellow Mushroom name, so we stopped in. I really didn't expect it to have that ""back home, relaxed, everybody's welcome"" feel to it. I was wrong. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a cheerful hostess. We ordered the House (like a ""Supreme"" at other places) and we were blown away. Amazing pizza. I have kids so we decided to skip the alcohol (unfortunately) but the server told us about the Root Beer on tap. What?! Of course, we all had to have a glass. Overall it was an outstanding visit. The whole restaurant was very clean, the music was upbeat, and the manager stopped by twice to make sure everything was alright. This will definitely be the place we stop at EVERY TIME we pass through Macon.
Pros: Clean, nice staff, awesome bar
Cons: They're not open 24/7!
