For me, the best thing about New World is that they serve all the things a coffee-drinker's friend wishes they could get - great wrap sandwiches and soup for a real meal; all the other beverages, including sodas, smoothies, the best hot tea choices, and even good iced tea, too; and a large variety of delicious desserts and snacks. But the coffee drinker would also prefer New World because they serve Fair Trade, Shade Grown coffee and use premium blends even for their drip coffee. Plus, it's the best place in Raleigh for post-university intellectuals - the furnishing is supremely comfortable, the music is good (not just background/boring), and they have free Wi-Fi access.
