I would not recommend the Family Health Center in Bastrop. My husband waited almost an hour and a half for our 2 year old to see the physican's assistant (we had an appointment). Then when she finally came in she explained she was late because of her lunch. She quickly rushed through the appointment and wouldn't even do a full physical exam saying that wasn't their policy at the first visit. She barely answered his questions without rushing out. They should be more considerate than to make a small child wait that long for an appointment. If they can't make it in time he at least should have been informed so we could reschedule. Then to have the PA (Stephanie) be so unhelpful was very frustrating.
Pros: no pros
Cons: Extremely long wait time, no exam on first visit and very rushed appointment
