Due to a very bad experience at a young age I have a serious fear of visiting the dentist. I have made many attempts over the years but have never found a place that makes me feel at ease. Until now, that is.
Dr. Causey and his staff specialize in people with these fears. They are the most understanding, compassionate people you could ever meet. Each and every one of them took the time out of their busy day to help calm me, explain in detail the upcoming procedure, and made conversation to distract me without once making me feel silly or foolish for being afraid.
Dr. Causey himself is an INCREDIBLY qualified DMD. His number one priority is giving you all the information you need to make a good decision about your dental health. He focuses on building personal relationships with his patients, a quality that I previously believed was a thing of the past. He even let me know that the best plan for me was to bypass some very expensive procedures as they might not have a great success rate (procedures that would have made him LOTS of money).
As for the negative review below, I believe that some people will never be satisfied. When I visited Dr. Causey's office I was made aware that the quoted fee was just that, a quote. I signed a form stating that insurance generally covered about 50% of the procedure but that should they fail to pay their portion (which would be an issue I would take up with my insurance company, not the doctor) then I would be responsible for the bill. I considered this pretty typical in the healthcare setting. Not to mention that $700 is a deal for a partial denture! Sounds like Dr. Causey was offering to do this gentleman a favor by cutting the costs and all he got was a negative review = )
I am so ecstatic that I no longer have to fear the dentist. Thanks to Dr. Causey and his amazing staff.
