I called to make an appt. and was told I could come in @ 9:30 am. I got to the office and they did not want to take because they said I had a remaining balance in my bill. They said I had to pay $200.00. My Bill was $463.00 i was told. I offered to pay $100.00 and pay the rest later on. I was out of work for 8 months. I was having financial difficulty . I was ready to passed out and left the office crying because I feel so horrible and didn't know what I had. I didn't have a choice but to go to Lake Forest Hospital in the emergency room I felt my brain is going to explode and was afraid I could have had Brain Annurism. And that is what the Emergency Doctor did confirm. They had to do a CAT SCAN to make sure everything is clear. I could have died and DEERPATH PHYSICIANS GROUP COULDN'T CARE LESS BECAUSE OF BILLING ISSUES..... I REALLY LIKED DR. SAVIN BUT WITH THE EXPERIENCE I HAD WITH THEM I THINK IT IS TIME TO CHANGE. I WOULD PAY WHATEVER BALANCE I HAD AND WILL LOOK FOR A DIFFERENT PRIMARY PHYSICIAN.
