Review content:
I had been going to Groomingdales for quite some time & trusted them. One day when we went to pick up our two dogs we were told that the teacup had a seizure & was at the animal hospital a couple blocks away. When we got there she had one eye bulging out - the vet said it was much better than when she came in hours earlier. They ran tests & charged over $700. We immediately took her over to the emergency clinic & left her for a few hours for them to stablize her & run tests to find out why she had a seizure. Hours later when we picked her up the vet told us there was absolutely no sign of a seizure & the damage to her eye had been blunt force trauma - in other words, they dropped her. They didn't even have the courtesy to tell the truth. They said that she was standing on the table & suddenly started a seizure so they put her on the floor so she didn't get hurt. She only weighs 3 lbs. The fall could have killed her & they didn't even have the ethics to be truthful. They wouldn't pay the $700+ vet bill, they never apologized, they continued to say that the eye bulging completely out of the socket was from a seizure, even though her eye was filled with blood & the ER vet said there was no sign of a seizure. If they will lie about this, what else will they lie about?
