Review content:
We had called to many many vets when our dog tore her second ACL muscle in her leg. She had this surgery last summer so we knew the cost should be under $2000. We called over a dozen vets who all told us between $2500-$3200. We called TAH, and talked to one of the front office staff who connected us with Dr. Fontes. He spent at least 45 minutes with us on the phone discussing our options and estimated our bill for full surgery (including pre/post op xrays, boarding, medication, etc) to be around $1800.
On the day of surgery he called us when our sweet Nalla was going into surgery, and when she was done with surgery. He spent about 15 minutes on the phone the day after her surgery answering all of my additional questions.
They even were able to offer us in house payment options because we weren't able to get approved for the care credit.
Tropicana Animal Hospital has a great staff, and great vets who aren't more concerned with the money than providing great care for your pets. We adore them and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a new vet.
Pros: Excellent people, payment plans available
