Review content:
The staff here at Mattatuck is absolutely fantastic! It is a small clinic, where your pet gets the care and attention they need. The vet techs are very knowledgeable and were also willing to explain pricing (which is very reasonable). I brought my 5 year old cat, Peri, in with a cyst on his neck. Dr. Turgeon was very gentle with Peri and explained everything very well about the surgery he would do. Peri is a very nervous, shy cat so it is stressful for him (and me!) to do this! Later, on the day of the surgery, I called to see how he was and Dr. Turgeon went carefully over how the procedure went and Peri's condition. I picked Peri up the following day and he looked great! He is now recovering well and going back in a few days to have the stitches removed.
Another thing that was great, was that they were able to hold a sample of the cyst for biopsy. They will send it out, when I am ready to pay for the testing. Obviously, I want to know whether this growth is cancerous. Being able to wait a bit to work it into my budget is fantastic.
Thank you Mattatuck and Dr Turgeon!
