Review content:
This was ridiculously fun. The instructor teaches in a way that is logical so you grasp how to play before you leave. He is a character with a pretty interesting and diverse background which makes for great stories and in the know tips on everything from poker etiquette to improving your game over time.
The space is nice and comfortable. Bonus, all you can drink mini bar. We had a small group, about 8, which I recommend for the first go around. Eventually I want to play in a tournament. I signed up using a coupon from Living Social BUT I would have paid full price for the class. It's kind of like an entry fee into a club. The school keeps in touch ans offers fresher courses and hosts game nights. Blake, the instructor, is super personable and interested in making sure everyone comes away learning the game.
I would recommend this for anyone that's every wanted to play or is looking for something different to do. I had no knowledge of the game before playing and feel pretty confident now.
