While the office staff was incredibly pleasant, the Doctor I saw here was incredibly clinical -almost to the point of being cold. During our first session, I expressed some concern over switching medications. The Dr. became very standoffish, and although he ended up prescribing me a medication I was more comfortable with, he made it clear that he was NOT happy about having to justify my Rx to the insurance companies. Things went downhill from there. After another meeting, I was told that there wasn't room for me in the practice. No real loss -I got an Rx that worked better for me & a list of other recommended therapists with openings in their practices. All the same, I felt as if I had been given the brush off from day one. If you're looking for a clinical psychopharmacologist, this place would be excellent. If you want talk therapy in a warm, welcoming environment, go somewhere else.
