Review content:
I am amazed and pleased that several employees are forthright enough to reveal the truth about the management of this place. First of all, the property really is beautiful. But if you seek that type of beauty, you have a ton of choices around Phoenix and Scottsdale and even up to Sedona. You should avoid Rancho Manana. We stayed at Rancho Manana for the wedding of a relative. We had direct dealings with the folks who seemed to be in charge and they are duplicitous and rude. We were overcharged on our credit card and when we tried to multiple times to call the resort to report the problem, we were ignored and our calls went unreturned. Judging from the reviews I see here, this is normal practice for the Management there. Eventually we notified our credit card company who then started an investigation and subsequently removed the erroneous charge from our credit card due to receiving no response at all from Rancho Manana. No matter how beautiful the property is, it does not matter if the management steals from the credit cards of the guests. Stay away from Rancho Manana. if you need back-up info, check this out a site streettalkblog and look up Rancho Manana. I guess the troubles there are even bigger...they should be shut down... Pros: Beautiful Property Cons: Duplicitous, con artist management
