Review content:
We came here for breakfast on Saturday a little before noon and the restaurant was not that busy, but for some reason the service was slow. The restaurant was probably a third full. We were waiting for quite a while before they took our order. Finally we ordered off the late riser's menu since they didn't have breakfast. I had the florentine omelette which was just okay, nothing special. I looked over and I noticed the table next to us trying helplessly to get the waiter's attention too. Poor couple looked like they were done with their meal when we were seated but couldn't manage to get the check from the waiter. Portions are pretty small here, but it's a step above ihop's or denny's I suppose. WHen we were leaving, I asked if whether they baked the cakes and pastries here and the cashier (white guy) looked at me with a stotic face and said ""yea."" Oops, my bad, sorry for asking; i guess i got him at a bad time. Typically there is one Asian guy cashier guy who is nice, but the white dude gives attitude like no other. The staff behind him were horseplaying around and joking and laughing; obviously they don't care about the people in the dining area trying to get their attention. Until there's another breakfast place in Pasadena, unfortunately WIld Thyme will just have to do.
Pros: nowhere else to go for breakfast in pasadena
Cons: apathetic, slow, clueless service
