Review content:
We got a call from Sami in this office that we could refinance our house at ABSOLUTELY no cost. We said we weren't interested as we had refinanced just two years ago. She kept calling and I kept asking the same question - how can it be no cost? Doesn't seem possible.
She said it was a government program. We said no a total of four times, till she caught my wife at home when I wasn't there. She said yes.
Of course, when we actually started the process, we were suddenly told we would have to pay $2400 in escrow fees. That's FREE???????
I spoke to the branch manager, John, and he promised me a resolution a week ago. I've now left him two messages with no response.
Needless to say, we aren't go forward and as soon as we can we'll move our business away from Wells Fargo.
