Review content:
The company has filed for Ch. 11 bankruptcy in Orange County. I understand that the debtor (EA Shutters) made a motion to the court to be allowed to fulfill its obligations on outstanding orders, but that the motion was denied. I haven't seen the actual court file though. If anyone has additional information, please feel free to call me at 619-744-2242. As of today, October 9, there is no operator available at the company. I suspect operations have shut down. I am really ticked off because, after mutliple delays, I specifically asked a Customer Service representative, whether the company was going out of business and she assured me that they were not. If I learn more information about what's going on in the bankruptcy, and whether EA will be allowed to fill existing orders, I'll post again. Jennifer K.
Pros: The quality of the product - if you can get it installed!
Cons: Company is in bankruptcy and not answering phones. Customer service misled me into beliving the company was still going to fill my order.
