Review content:
I bought tickets to see Pearl Jam at this venue back in April when it was still called the ""Tweeter Center"". I read the reviews then and everybody seemed to love this place. And then comes yesterday. The name of the venue has changed to the ""Comcast Center"" and everybody seems to hate it. My first peeve with this place is the parking situation. Granted it's free but after the show let out, it took me over 2 hours to get out of the lot (plus I had another 4 hours to travel ahead of me). Secondly, they are very strict with the curfew for the bands. Pearl Jam was off at 11:03. I saw them at the Garden this past week and they didn't get off the stage until almost midnight. That was a huge disappointment. Last, but certainly not least, is their absurd alcohol policy in the place. I was turned away because I'm from New York and not 25 years old. However, if I were to be from Mass or RI, there wouldn't have been any problems. My friend, however, was old enough to buy the beer (after presenting TWO forms of ID and being interrogated about the information). Then, on the way back to our seats, I offered to hold one of the beers my friend bought so they could get out their ticket. As soon as that beer was put into my hands, I was hounded by an alcohol supervisor who threatened to eject me if I didn't give the beer back. So, in short, if you're from out-of-state, want a beer or two and are under 25, don't waste your time going.
Pros: None to speak of
Cons: The staff; the alcohol policy; 65 seat rows (you are constantly being bothered)
