Having visited the other location in Santa Monica a few times for fairly average sushi, I was ambling around Culver with a friend in search of something light to offset the holiday's munching...
Please don't bother. I could barely believe that our order was wrong 3 times. The yellowtail red dot had no red dot. The toro sashimi was in fact a toro tartare, seared toro (no!) and the only teensy 3 other pieces were frozen solid! Not great for a $35 promise of 8 delectable slices.
Worst still the staff were really sarcastic, teasing our accents and repeating what we said with a cruel tone.
I will never, ever eat here again.
