Review content:
We have been using Lower Bucks Peds for 4 years. During that time they have grown, and yes, I do have to call to make well check appointments 3 months in advance, but in my opinion, it is worth it. I have never been denied a same day appointment when I have called because of a sick child.
My son has special needs- I have never felt rushed by the doctors and everyone has been patient and listened to my concerns. When I needed scripts for his various therapies, it was very simple and the office staff were on the ball. The doctors take the time to sit with me an explain how various medications work, if they think my son truly needs them, and listen to my feelings on the subject as well.
Recently my son broke his ankle. For insurance reasons we had to see our pediatrician to get a referral before we could go to an orthopedist. Imagine our surprise when during the appt at Lower Bucks, the doc left for a few minutes and came back with the name of an orthopedist and told us that the office staff had already called our insurance and expedited the referral and gotten us in to see the orthopedist that very same afternoon.
So while you may have to schedule your appointments way ahead of time, the quality of care is second to none!
