Weinberg, Auren, Md - Lower Bucks Pediatrics Pc

LOVE Dr. Weinberg and the practice. Dr. W is really personable and cares about the kids.The other Docs have been terrific as well. I'm an older mom and we started with this practice after my youngest was born. In the 7 years since my 4 kids have had many mishaps, accidents and illnesses; some very very scary ones too. Lower Bucks Peds has always helped us quickly when it was an emergency or illness. True that you have to schedule yearly check ups well in advance and you can consistently count on taking at least an hour before you see a Doc and occasionally longer but the practice is Excellent and worth the wait. When I have inquired about the wait it's generally b/c there's an unusually large number of sick visits and the practice is trying to accommodate them. I don't have a problem with it but I know to just assume an hour and a half to get in and out of the office which is hard, yes. I've been the beneficiary of many same day sick visits so I figure I really can't complain. They're a very good practice and I definitely recommend them. more

I have two children and a very busy schedule. Taking them in at the same time was a struggle everytime. They are really nice but they do not care about your children. My son was 5 months behind on his shots because they could not fit him into their schedule. When we finally did come in we waited two hours before being seen by a doctor then another hour to get his shots. Thank god my child was never sick when I went there. He did though poke his eye and they tried charging me for services I did not receive. My insurance called them to work it out but nothing happened. They still say I owe for pictures of the eye but they will not show me the pictures and my insurance was never billed for that. Their billing and scheduling department is horrible. I do not recomend this place to anyone. Its like a meat factory they get you in and out as fast as possible. Which is not fast but out of the three hours I was there I maybe saw the Dr. for 15 minutes out of that. HATED THIS PLACE. more

We have been using Lower Bucks Peds for 4 years. During that time they have grown, and yes, I do have to call to make well check appointments 3 months in advance, but in my opinion, it is worth it. I have never been denied a same day appointment when I have called because of a sick child. My son has special needs- I have never felt rushed by the doctors and everyone has been patient and listened to my concerns. When I needed scripts for his various therapies, it was very simple and the office staff were on the ball. The doctors take the time to sit with me an explain how various medications work, if they think my son truly needs them, and listen to my feelings on the subject as well. Recently my son broke his ankle. For insurance reasons we had to see our pediatrician to get a referral before we could go to an orthopedist. Imagine our surprise when during the appt at Lower Bucks, the doc left for a few minutes and came back with the name of an orthopedist and told us that the office staff had already called our insurance and expedited the referral and gotten us in to see the orthopedist that very same afternoon. So while you may have to schedule your appointments way ahead of time, the quality of care is second to none! more

This office is the worst office i have ever been too. I don't mean to exagerate. They have no passion for their clients and they dont care for the patients or their parents at all. I was referred to them by my baby's hospital and the worst referral ever. My daughter had jaundice and Lower Bucks Pediatrics send my daughter to a hospital that didnt accept my insurance. I had a c-section and they didn't care if i had to go from hospital to hospital. They gave me a hard time because I wanted to take her to the hospital the she was born at. They kept calling me over, and over and over and over, they where harrasing me and they didn't believe me that I actually took her to the hospital. I ended up taking her to her hospital that she was born and finding another pediatric, I'm super happy with Dr. Kapadia, best pedriatric ever. He treats me and my daughter with care and respect. Lower bucks pediatrics directly called me a liar and bad mother (a huge insult for a mother). Think about it twice before going there. Ohh and long waits and staff are very rude. Not happy at all when they see you walking in. more

This office has grown very quickly - so they must have a good reputation. The Dr's seem good and very nice - However it's IMPOSSIBLE to get a well visit!!! If you need a physical or something for your kids sports or schools, forget it. You'll wait 2-3 Months, and they expect you to continuously call back to see if any appointments open up in the mean time. For a sick visit, sometimes it seems like they're doing you a favor to get you in. Wait time has varied, probably like any other Dr. office - I've waited an hour and I've waited 10 minutes...... more

My kids have been with this group since they were tiny - they're now young adults. We love the staff at LB Pediatrics. They are warm, caring and competent - in fact, we are so happy with them that we drive 45 minutes one way to get to the office when there are plenty of pediatricians closer to us. Both the office staff and the doctors are the essence of friendly, engaged competence. All have gone out the their ways, at various times, to help us, treating our family as though we are their family. more

Don't go here... I am in the process of looking for a new pediatrician. Their wait time is ridiculously long - not great for young children (you'll be brought into the dr office and can sit there for 45 minutes to an hour!). If you ever have to re-schedule an appointment, you will have to wait 2-3 months for availability. This place is not run well. They do not care about the patients' time or well-being. more
