Businiess name:  Di Piero's Restaurant

Review content:
For over fifteen years my family and I enjoyed a small, German like Village called Lake, Zurich,IL. We spent our vacations visiting my Mother in law. Time by the lake with Bill's Boats and a great dinner at Di Piero's. Times changed, this place used to have personality. The happy fat Italian man at the bar, would light up the room and gave it an essence of Soprano's and New York City. Which was lost in the County, as if these people were hiding in a tiny Village. My belief is the old owner had died. The second owner, whom I believe is named Bob, is mean and stares at everyone like he can't wait to leave. He's not respectful to the customers and neither is his son I believe who runs it with him. Personality goes a long way in this business. Our family has re-visted this Restaurant, believing the magic would return. Veterans of the town, Firemen, all loved the old owner. He was the personality! Since his passing this restaurant has turned into less than Olive Garden. Like they made their money and they just soak up the fact the place is a landmark. Horrible, prior to this, ten years ago, I would have given it five stars. It now shouldn't get one. But one is fair.. Do not order from the carry out next door. The food tastes like Coffee Beans.. The Restaurant still has some flavor, but lost all it's personality.
