I come here fairly regular and I have wanted to write some kind of review for a while. From the outside the place looks pretty dull but far from it. However, you won't like this place if you are a spoiled pampered person wanting to take advantage of excellent food at great prices but have a cheap critical and better than you attitude. I'd say, do them and yourself a favor by going somewhere else. The wines are good but you won't get that little ice bucket with the white napkin (unless you ask). You are not going to be pampered like you are the Mayor or something either,... like you are doing them some kind of favor by coming in. However, everyone is very nice and I have never had a bad experience, the servers are always pleasant and helpful. You will enjoy the whole experience and find yourself coming back if you love REAL good high quality genuine food and also know how to relax and have a good time with your friends and family before and after a big meal. It's a social place. The bar is fun and full of conversation that you can hear off in the distance. Pleasant, good-looking men and women actually hang out there. (That?s a little secret) Kind of like Peppermill if you remember that place. Folks looking for perfection better break out their savings and head downtown because this is a family restaurant run by Italians. The reason people complain about waiting is because it' s popular place!! So if you love great tasting food, know how to relax and are not a SNOB you will love it here. The pizza on Tuesday night is off the hook and I have not found steak as good in all of Elk Grove no matter what the price. I love this place.
