Review content:
I have been a member of the DAC off and on since 1990. I go back to the days when it was privately owned and was truly a local institution. One of the best well kept secrets in SW Dallas County. Over the years it has been through many owners, some better than others. I read some of the reviews and comments on the current ownership group and my family and I have decided to give them a chance. The equipment meets the needs for a good solid workout. We had the physical therapist who treats my 20 year old son who is recovering from severe injuries due to an auto accident, come in and check out that place before we rejoined and she gave it a thumbs up. The equipment there is adequate to meet my son's needs for safety as well as to meet his physical therapy and workout plan. I'm not happy about the shape of the locker room and pool and sauna area. These used to be as pristine as any gm or club around, they are not that way now. I hope the management addresses that and I was told that they will. Time will tell.
Pros: Flexible hours,
Cons: Locker Rooms need improvement
