There are many places to rent from in NE Ohio. Nobody advertises as much as K&D Group, and the advertised amenities and photos of the lobbies are impressive. If you are considering renting from a K&D Group owned property, do yourself a favor and get the advertised amenities described by email and guaranteed by the highest person you can within K&D Group. False advertising is their specialty, and the service will give you a whole new understanding of horrible. Get a pre-agreed note that if they fail to please you, you can leave without the 60 day written notice required to vacate the property. If you don't care that the public areas are never mopped, vacuumed, or cleaned then this might be okay for you. I live with chicken bones and mud in the elevators, mold and algae in the pool, and hot water every other day. Early this spring someone v0mited by the main enterance door for the expensive primo parking spots. After several complaints, I mopped it up myself. After a year's worth of service requests for the a/c to be serviced, the maintenance manager personally appeared and told me to try opening my windows at night to let the cool air in, and then see if the a/c could maintain that temp throughout the day. It was hard with the security guards listening to really loud music in their vehicles all night, and it still didn't work. I am paying for 'centeral air'. The maintenance specializes in excuses and suggestions for do-it-yourself type repairs. The individual apartments are really pretty when remodelled, but the cheap finishes wear off quickly. The highest levels of management are rude and quick to assume that you are a poor, out of options type of tenant, and that you don't know anything about tenant rights laws. Their 'guarantees' for services to be accomplished pretty much guarantee only that you will be wasting more of your time calling them from work to get what ever you need fixed. P.S.- they employ felons and allow registered rapists to live here.
