I ran across the above review and wanted to add that Fishers of Men is now the Center of Hope on 1216 Venice Avenue E. They are growing and doing more amazing things! They have soup kitchen on Saturdays, food pantry, free clothes and an extensive social services program. The offices for that are next to the church at 1214 E. Venice Ave. I volunteer at the soup kitchen every Saturday and go to the church and it's just the best church I've ever been to with some of the kindest people. The band is still great and the sermons inspirational. They webcast now too. If you ever wanted a church that really tries to do what Jesus said to do, this is the place!
