We began taking our dog Lady to Met Vet west back in 2006. She had an emergency and even though we had never been to the office before they told us to come right in. They treated Lady and us as though she had been a patient there since she was a puppy. They got her back to health and we continuued to take her there for everything she needed. We had the opportunity to deal with several of the doctors and staff memebers in our visits and everyone was kind, gentle and caring. Unfortunately we had to take Lady there one last time when she became so ill that we had to make one of the hardest decisions ever. We called ahead and they had a special room already for us and told us all what to expect. Then they gave us some time to be with her before the procedure. During the procedure the doctor spoke to Lady softly and was very compassionate to her and to the rest of us. Once Lady was gone, they again gave us some time and then took her and wrapped her and placed her in a box for us to take home. We declined the option of cremation. We wanted Lady in the yard where she loved to play and lay in the sun. Pros: wondrful staff, resonably priced and efficient
