Review content:
I visited the place a couple of times to buy a horse there. I cannot comment on the instructors but they seemed friendly. The indoor arena is sufficiently large but the footing did not appear to have been dragged recently.
My main problem with places like these is that they don't take into account the horses' needs.
Horses are not indoor pets, nor are they machines that exist only for girls to ride and win ribbons. They are outdoor animals who are highly social. They need to graze in an open space and socialize with other horses. They need a safe, fenced pasture, with approximately one acre per horse. Depriving them of space and socialization causes them to develop behavioral and health problems.
I realize that not everybody can afford to keep horses at home or travel to a real farm, but a crowded barn so close to a busy city is no place for horses.
Pros: Heated barn, nice people
Cons: Horses have no real turnout, are locked in all the time
