I DONT CARE WHAT YOU SAY. THERE'S SOMETHING MAGICAL ABOUT DAN'S THAT SEPERATE IT FROM ANY OTHER SUB SANDWHICH SHOP IN THE VALLEY. MAYBE ITS THE FRESHNESS OF THEIR CHOPPED TOMATOS OR THE TYPE OF BREAD USED. WHATEVER IT IS, PEOPLE LINE-UP DOWN THE BLOCK AT LUNCH TIME. DAN EVEN HAS A PAIR OF FAX MACHINES TO HANDLE THE LOAD OF PHONE-IN WRITTEN ORDERS FOR PICK-UP. FIRST TIME GOERS SHOULD TRY SUB #1 ON THE MENU FOR STARTERS.
