Move over Pat's And Gino's in Philadelphia . Here comes Pros: Wonderful Hot Roast Beef and Cheese Sub. Yummy Cons: Tight Parking because they are so darn busy!!

Worst

subs are deliciuous but there is little meat and a lot of bread for $9.00 for a sandwich. I like the place overall but I wished that they did put in more meat in their sandwiches.

I DONT CARE WHAT YOU SAY. THERE'S SOMETHING MAGICAL ABOUT DAN'S THAT SEPERATE IT FROM ANY OTHER SUB SANDWHICH SHOP IN THE VALLEY. MAYBE ITS THE FRESHNESS OF THEIR CHOPPED TOMATOS OR THE TYPE OF BREAD USED. WHATEVER IT IS, PEOPLE LINE-UP DOWN THE BLOCK AT LUNCH TIME. DAN EVEN HAS A PAIR OF FAX MACHINES TO HANDLE THE LOAD OF PHONE-IN WRITTEN ORDERS FOR PICK-UP. FIRST TIME GOERS SHOULD TRY SUB #1 ON THE MENU FOR STARTERS. I've been eating at Dan's since '94 - they cut back on the amount of meat per sub, but whatever - it's still wonderful...Try a number 9 more
