I think I have a pretty good eye when it comes to picture framing, but when my wife presented me with a Charles Fazzino (3D pop art) for my fiftieth birthday I knew a standard frame just wouldn?t cut it.
Having checked out a few local framers I was on the point of giving up hope when a college recommended David at DRG.
It was a long way for me to go, so I was a bit reluctant. I have to say, though, it was worth the trip and more. His patience, professionalism and, above all, his artist?s eye meant that I have a frame that?s as stunning and frenetic as the work itself.
His solution was completely unexpected and unique I wish I could post a photo to illustrate exactly what he came up with.
I don?t usually write on-line reviews (being kind of old-school I believe service should be a given) but David goes well beyond the run-of-the-mill framers and I?d be doing him a disservice not to sing his praises.
